In addition, she completed 200-hour yoga teacher training and is a certified SMART provider through the MGH Benson-Henry Institute for Mind-Body Medicine.

At the BWH Osher Clinical Center Dr. Loewenthal offers 2 clinical services:

  1. Limited outpatient consultation for patients interested in the use of integrative therapies for healthy aging, longevity, and chronic disease management. This may include approaches from Western medicine (e.g., physical therapy, medications) and/or advice about, or referral to, complementary therapies such as yoga, tai chi, acupuncture, chiropractic, supplements, or others. Patients are typically seen 1-3 times total. The first visit is 60 minutes and follow-up visits are 30 minutes. This service is a specialty service and eligible for specialist co-pays from the patient’s insurer.
  2. A group visit program called “Age Self Care” where patients can dive deeper into healthy aging topics and build a social community around aging. Patients are seen for a 60-minute initial consult visit. If they are interested in the group and meet all criteria, they can enroll in a 12-week program that meets once per week on Zoom.
