The Power of Human Potential: Consciousness, Mind–Body Medicine, and a New Framework for Cancer Biology

LORENZO COHEN, MD
Richard E. Haynes Distinguished Professor in Clinical Cancer Prevention
Director, Integrative Medicine Program, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center

Presentation Description: This presentation explores emerging research at the intersection of consciousness, mind–body medicine, and cancer biology, drawing on preclinical and translational studies of biofield therapy. Framed within the evolution of medical paradigms, it considers whether these novel findings point toward an expanded framework for understanding tumor behavior and the role of consciousness in biological systems.
