The Power of Human Potential: Consciousness, Mind–Body Medicine, and a New Framework for Cancer Biology
During our July 2026 Grand Rounds event, Lorenzo Cohen, MD, Integrative Medicine Program Director at the University of Texas MD Anderson, presented: “The Power of Human Potential: Consciousness, Mind-Body Medicine and a New Framework for Cancer Biology.” Dr. Cohen’s presentation explores emerging research at the intersection of consciousness, mind-body medicine, and cancer biology, drawing on preclinical and translational studies of biofield therapy. Framed within the evolution of medical paradigms, it considers whether these novel findings point toward an expanded framework for understanding tumor behavior and the role of consciousness in biological systems.
