On September 15, the Osher Center for Integrative Health will host the first lecture of the Drs. Manoj and Sunita Jain Endowed Lectureship in Jainism and Integrative Health, to be held in the Bornstein Amphitheater at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
The inaugural lecture will feature distinguished speaker David Katz, MD, MPH, FACPM, FACP, FACLM, a globally recognized physician, nutritionist, and author who has made significant contributions to the Food as Medicine movement. His anticipated presentation, “Optimizing Nourishment for People and Planet: What We Know and How We Know It,” promises to be an outstanding first entry in this series, rooted in Jainism’s core values that promote human and planetary health, resilience, and an enhanced quality of life.
The Osher Center wishes to thank Manoj and Sunita Jain for their generosity and commitment to advancing holistic well-being through the principles of Jainism. Their gift to endow this lectureship will engage meaningful cross-disciplinary dialogues and inform and inspire our community for years to come.
