Informed Consent: Content, Communications and Emerging Technologies

Co-sponsored by the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP), the 2018 Research Community Forum will bring together renowned experts, researchers, scientists, and regulatory professionals for two separate events: a workshop on May 1, followed by a symposium on May 2. The workshop will focus on the Revised Common Rule and will address the upcoming changes to informed consent. OHRP will engage institutional experts to share their unique viewpoints and insights. The full-day symposium will address issues of Informed Consent, and how we can move forward as a community to address issues of content, communications, and emerging technologies.
