Dennis J. Matos, DC received his Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida and attended Concordia University, St. Paul, where he earned a Master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science. He completed his chiropractic doctorate training at the Palmer College of Chiropractic West Campus and continued his education through a two-year residency at the Human Performance Center, located at the Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota.

Dr. Matos is a certified Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR) provider, a Functional Range Conditioning movement specialist (FRCms), a USA Weightlifting Level 1 (USAW1) Coach and a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP).

Dr. Matos specializes in biomechanics and rehabilitation in sports and enjoys treating people of all ages and injury causes.   Dr. Matos has a passion for performance optimization and care of the injured athlete.  At the Human Performance Center, he provided care for athletes from over 12 different sports, including jiu-jitsu, women’s football, Olympic weightlifting, and hockey. The athletes spanned all levels, from high school to professional competitors.

Dr. Matos views everyone as an athlete in the game of life.  By combining manual joint and soft tissue therapies with tailored exercise, he works to optimize human performance.
