What is Reiki?
Reiki is an integrative relaxation therapy that helps promote the body’s natural ability to balance itself. Outcomes, as observed by patients who have received Reiki, include reduction in pain, anxiety, sleeplessness, stress, and nausea.
A 2007 survey showed that, in the United States (U.S.), 1.2 million adults tried Reiki or a similar therapy at least once in the previous year. Over 60 hospitals are believed to offer Reiki services to patients. Learn more about Reiki here.
